This expedition explores the wild landscapes of Patagonia through a journey designed specifically around wildlife.
Led by a local wildlife photographer and a biologist, with extensive knowledge of the region, the itinerary goes beyond the classic highlights to focus on meaningful encounters with Patagonia's iconic fauna in their natural environment.
Itinerary
The itinerary below represents the core experiences that form the foundation of this expedition.
The final number of days and sequence of activities will remain flexible according to the group's interests, availability, and wildlife conditions. Additional experiences may be added before or after the core puma-tracking program.
Day 1: Arrival in Puerto Natales – Torres del Paine
Welcome to Patagonia! Meet your guides and begin your journey into the wild landscapes of southern Chile.
Travel from Puerto Natales toward the Torres del Paine region, with opportunities to begin exploring the landscapes and wildlife of the Patagonian steppe along the way.
Settle into your accommodation at Hotel
El Ovejero Patagónico in Cerro Castillo, where we will enjoy our first evening together and prepare for the days of wildlife exploration ahead.
Core days: Puma Tracking in private land.
Our first full day is dedicated to the search for one of Patagonia's most elusive and iconic predators: the puma.
With the support of an experienced local tracker, we explore a private land near Torres del Paine with privileged access, one of the best places in the world to observe these magnificent cats in the wild.
Two dedicated tracking sessions, one in the morning and another in the afternoon, allow us to maximize our time in the field while following the natural rhythms of the pumas and the changing light of the Patagonian landscape.
Final Day: Departure or continue your journey
After completing the core wildlife expedition, return to Puerto Natales for your onward journey home—or extend your stay with one of our optional wildlife experiences.
For those extending their stay, the adventure can continue with one of our optional wildlife experiences, including Andean Condor photography day, the King Penguin colony in Tierra del Fuego, or a marine wildlife expedition in Francisco Coloane Marine Park.

Andean Condor Photography Day
For those wishing to continue their wildlife journey, an optional photography experience takes us to Estancia Olga Teresa in search of one of the great birds of the Andes: the Andean Condor.
With the open Patagonian landscape as a backdrop, we focus on observing and photographing these enormous birds as they soar above the steppe. This experience is available as an optional add-on at an additional cost.
Tierra del Fuego and the King Penguins Day
Travel across the waters and landscapes of southern Patagonia to Tierra del Fuego for a full-day experience focused on one of the region's most remarkable wildlife spectacles: the King Penguin colony.
Observe these charismatic birds in their natural environment and experience the remote landscapes of Tierra del Fuego, where the vastness and isolation of Patagonia become part of the journey itself.

Whales and Leopard Seals Navigation Expedition
Set out on a full-day boat adventure through Francisco Coloane Marine Park, one of the most remarkable marine wildlife destinations in southern Patagonia.
Explore the park's fjords, channels, and coastal waters in search of humpback whales, leopard seals, and other marine wildlife.
Spend the day observing and photographing wildlife in a spectacular remote environment, where the rich waters of the Southern Ocean attract an incredible diversity of species.
